It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Brooks (Ripley, Ohio), who passed away on February 14, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Settles and Ruena Settles (Green); her husband John L. Brooks, Sr.; her son John L. Brooks, Jr.; and her sister Arietta Washington.
She is survived by: her children, Baron Brooks of Fairborn, Kent Brooks of Ripley, Vincent Brooks of Sevierville, Randy Brooks of Maysville, Kentucky and Ramona Coleman of Cincinnati, Ohio; and her brothers, Ronald E. Settles of Cincinnati and James E. Settles of Ripley, Ohio. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren.
