He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sullenberger and Mabel Sullenberger (White); his wife Virginia "Ginger" Sullenberger (McMaken); and his sister Shirley Wright. He is survived by: his son Randy Sullenberger (Donna) of Ripley, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jessica Parsons (Jason) of Gallatin and Dustin Sullenberger (Harriet) of Port Williams, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Gaige, Collin, Jasper, Koby, Isaac and Kane; and his siblings, Charles "Sonny" Sullenberger (Doris) of Piqua, Ohio and Sheri Schnieder (Denny) of Chillicothe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
