It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Mathews (Ripley, Ohio), who passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Schwallie and Vera Schwallie (Inskeep); and her sisters, Eileen Fron, Jeannette McCaughey and Nadine Reineck.
She is survived by: her husband Don Mathews; and her siblings, Andrea O'Connor of Destin, Florida, Joe Schwallie of Dayton, Jim Schwallie of Ripley and Greg Schwallie of Graham Washington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
