He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Adams and Dora Jane Adams (Kirk); his wife Martha Adams (Helbling); his siblings, Marlene LeForge Flynn and William Adams; and his grandson Jason Hamilton.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Adams (Debby), Richard Adams (Carol), Mary Ann List (Mickey), Jeannie Taylor (Dennis), John Adams (Mary) and Carol Yazell (John); his grandchildren, Lesley Johnson, Brandon Cook, Amy Frebis (Tim), Troy Adams, Clay Adams, Catherine Adams, Mickey List, Jr. (Amanda), Justin List, Chad Taylor (Lisa), Mandy Ott (Bradley), Charles "Chuck" Taylor, Tracy Boyd (Casey), Rockie Adams (Becky), Holly Hamilton and Heather Hamilton (Ken); his sister Helen Hellard Good; and his aunt Frances Adams Gorman Mitchell. He is also survived by thirty-four great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
