She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Kavanagh and Alice Kavanagh (Weber); her daughter Karen; and her brother Joe. She is survived by: her husband William J. Kerns; her daughters, Loretta Kerns of Bellefontaine and Ruth Cole (John) of Virginia; her granddaughter Katherine Cole of Virginia; her siblings, Mary Murphy (David) of Kenton and Wesley Kavanagh of Ridgeway; and her sister-in-law Sheila Kavanagh of West Mansfield.
