He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Shoffner and Louise Shoffner (Culp); and his siblings, Loretta Richardson (Phil), Barb Brown, Mary Wolf, Sally Harrold (Gene), Joan Manns, Bob Shoffner (Dixie) and Tim Shoffner (Alene).
He is survived by: his children, Leigh Ann Newland (Tim), Kyle Douglas "Doug" Hoenshel (Sara), Chris Hoenshel (Lucille) and Charles Franklin Shoffner II (Heather); his sister Kate Newman (Bill); his grandchildren, Nick Newland (Grace), Michelle Hill (Jeremy), Keera McClaren (Richard), Jarrod Hoenshel (Corrine), Heather Andes, Luis Michael Hoenshel, Hannah Shoffner and Hayden Shoffner; and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Faith Newland, Camden Hill, Aiden and Christopher Andes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Price Funeral Home (225 W Taylor St, Mt Victory, OH 43340). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Charlie's honor may be made to Wounded Warriors or donor's choice.
