He was predeceased by: his mothers, Valentina Deckard and Lena Deckard; his son Forrest Michael (Mike); and his sister Idella Loy. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. LeVally; his grandson Vince (Ronda); his great grandchild Grant; and his siblings, Dwight (Audrey) and Norma (Cliff Shirk). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
