He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Hale (Smith) and Rufus N. Hale; his son Pat; his great grandchild Ashley Deardorff; his in-laws, Chance and Elsie Vermillion; and his siblings, Garland, Clifford, Grayson, Claude, Rex, Norman, Howard, Raymond and Marian.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Vermillion; his children, Mike Hale (Bev Marquart) of Belle Center, Gary Hale (Wanda) of Kenton, Marc Hale (Kendra) of Kenton and Kathy Elsass (Bob) of Findlay; his daughter-in-law Susan Hale of Hanna, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Bryan Hale (Mindy Summit), Jodi Mault (Charlie), Tiffany Retterer (Brett), Brandy Sibold (Brian), Brittany Rudasill (Josh), Wes Hale (Nicki), Travis Temple (Lish), Tracy Temple (Anne), Kelli Bauman (Drew), Nicholas Elsass, Colton Hale (Kristin), Carter Hale, Nicole Bivona (Chris) and Patrick Hale (Naomi). He is also survived by his kids and grandkids.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Allen's son, Pat, to the American Alzheimer's Association.
