He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Benecke and Marie Benecke (Michaelis); his wife Janis Benecke (Fredrick); and his daughter Melissa. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Detwiler of Defiance, Jeffrey Benecke (Jo Ann) of Ridgeville Corners and Daniel Benecke (Gina) of Ridgeville Corners; his grandchildren, James Rodriguez (Meghan), Jennifer Leddy (Alex), Jessica, Jasmine Rodriguez, Matthew, Nicholas Benecke, Autumn, Ellison and Kayla Benecke; and his siblings, Neal Benecke (Margaret) and Beverly Meyer (Dennis).
