He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Evans and Wilda Evans. He is survived by: his siblings, Jocelyn Evans Lewis, Darrell Evans and Nancy Evans Skidmore; his daughters, Donna Temple (Larry) of Richwood, Regina Temple (Bill) of Richwood and Greta Smith (Tim) of Richwood; his grandchildren, Dustin Temple (Jami), DeAnna Carey (C. J.), Jessica Elliott (Drece), Todd Temple, Wil Temple, Kelsey Grose, Kyle Grose, Benjamin Smith (Jonda) and Matthew Smith (Tiffany); and his great grandchildren, Connor, Harper, Braylin, Hadelyn, Tyler, Jaylen, Avery, Torin, Jayleigh, Reagan, Brock, Grayson, Hayden, Jackson and Tyson.
As he progressed with the Alzheimer's, his boss Aaron kept Roger on his job knowing the disease was becoming a problem but never put him out of a job.
