McElroy; his daughters, Cathy McElroy and Diane Lynn Glenz; his siblings, Harold McElroy (JoAnne), Jack (Florence) and Betty Moore (Junior); and his brothers-in-law, Jim Stalder and Gene Cheney.
He is survived by: his son Scott McElroy of Raleigh; his son-in-law Tom Glenz of Tampa, Florida; his grandchildren, Nicholas Dierkes (Natalie) of Asheville and Jan Marie Dierkes (David Crowder) of Morrison, Colorado; his stepgrandchildren, Thomas P. Glenz (Sarah) and Katie Glenz of Tampa; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Diane Dierkes, Isaac Leverette Dierkes of Asheville, Cora Diane Dierkes Crowder and Thea Josephine Dierkes Crowder of Morrison; his stepgreat-granddaughter Amanda Glenz of Tampa; and his siblings, Phyllis Stalder of Florida, Isabelle Cheney of Upper Sandusky, Lowell McElroy (Rita) of North Carolina and Tom McElroy (Donna) of Florida.
