Though Marvin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marvin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin George and Margaret Porschet (Fruewald); his daughter Ronda J. Porschet; and his siblings, Ada Drebilibis, Norma Price, Doris Payne and Harold Porschet.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Porschet (Trapp); his son Doug Porschet of Richwood; and his in-laws, Pattsy Dotson of Magnetic Springs, Ortho "Bud" Trapp (Jeannie) of Marysville and Annette Porschet of Richwood.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home (201 S Franklin St, Richwood, OH 43344). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church.
