He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin George and Margaret Porschet (Fruewald); his daughter Ronda J. Porschet; and his siblings, Ada Drebilibis, Norma Price, Doris Payne and Harold Porschet.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Porschet (Trapp); his son Doug Porschet of Richwood; and his in-laws, Pattsy Dotson of Magnetic Springs, Ortho "Bud" Trapp (Jeannie) of Marysville and Annette Porschet of Richwood.
