He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mitchell and Evelyn Rose Ross (Parthemer); his wife Anna K. Ross (Rigo); his son Ira "Bill"; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Henderson; his brother Steve "Bones" Hamilton; and his son Charles Ross (Star) of Richwood.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Dustin Ross, Michael Ross, Nena Woods (Doug Nickelson), Robert Woods, Chris Thomas (Jim) and Craig Carey (Laura); his great grandchildren, Cain, Mia, Nataya Wilson, Nathan, Evan Thomas, Hannah Ruth Loya and Wingate Carey; and his brothers, Randy Ross (Melanie) of Green Camp and Scott Hamilton of Richwood.
