With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jennie Evelyn Adkins (Richwood, Ohio), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on December 21, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Jones and Virginia Dailey (Baker); her brother Jess "Bud" Jones; and her grandchildren, Angela Adkins and James Adkins II.

She is survived by: her husband Jack Adkins Sr.; her siblings, Judy Rodman of Prospect and Roger Jones (Judy) of Richwood; her children, Jack Jr. (Wanda) of Calera, Alabama, Jim (Sherry) of Richwood, June of Columbus and Mike (Melody) of Marysville; and her grandchildren, Teresa (Matt), Jacqueline (Jeff), Tabetha, Jennifer (William), Brandy, Cassandra (Jimmy), Jason (Kimberly), Shelly (Richard), Katie (Brittney) and Stephanie. She is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Masks shall be worn, and social distancing adhered to.

She was a solid foundation to her children and a lighthouse to her grandchildren.
