He was predeceased by: his parents, Ona Fay (Breese) and Herbert Coons; his siblings, Mary Carey, Rebecca Jane Coons and Thomas Coons; and his nephew Douglas Carey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Penny (Chris Reed) of Columbus, Polly (Kaivan Karimi) of Austin and Jessica Nicole (Frank O'Brien) of Milan; his grandchildren, Camille Brasmer, Kaia Karimi, Hali Karimi and Natalie Schock; and the mother of his children Jennifer Coons (Jolliff) of Marblehead.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home (201 S Franklin St, Richwood, OH 43344). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
