He is survived by: his parent Livia Della Penna DeSimone; his children, Bridget Long (James) and Steve DeSimone (Gina); his grandchildren, Geno DeSimone and Janiyah Bouchet; and his siblings, Joann Truini-Slater (Bill), Anna Mary Kuzmich and Anthony DeSimone (Linda).
