He is survived by: his wife Leona Nelson (Fluharty); his children, Emily Vandyke (James), Scott Nelson (Jessica), Adam Nelson (Tracy Vandine-Workman), Jason Nelson (Angela) and Rhonda Nelson (Sean Wildes); his mother-in-law Dorothy Fluharty; and his brothers, Dwaine Nelson (Sandy), Glenn Nelson (Boni) and Jimmy Nelson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
