He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary; his mother Midge Lingo; his stepbrother John Lingo; and his sister Thelma. He is survived by: his wife Nita; his son Jeff Merrill (Shawnna); his stepchildren, Donita Farmer (Kevin) and Wesley Spencer (Kristina); his grandchildren, Haiden and Lukka; his stepgrandchildren, Logan, Madison, Hannah, Kaylee and Alayna; and his half-sisters, Margaret, Nancy, Susan and Sheila.
