He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McConnell and Frances McConnell (Seitter); his former wife Barbara McConnell (Christian); his sister Donna Hill (Scott); his brother-in-law Richard Guilliam; his brother David; his sister-in-law Rose McConnell; his nieces, Belinda Rinkes (Ross) and Beth Ann Flautt (Martin); and his nephew Kenneth Edward McConnell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Jim McConnell (Suzanne), Tom McConnell (Mollie), Kathy Ramsey (Dale), Brian Martin (Patty) and Kevin McConnell (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Greg Rinkes (Ashlie), Kenlee Rinkes (Kristin), Vicki Gogikar (Paul), John (Kelli), Vance (Tamara), Robert (Charleigh Harding), Mary and Max McConnell; his children, Ed (Kyleigh), Josh (Natasha), Charli, Tommi McConnell (Steve Marcino), Andrew (Racine), Tyler Ramsey (Heather), Amber Chappell (Artie), Itxel, Savannah Martin, Magnus and Breck McConnell; and his sister Joyce Guilliam. He is also survived by 19 great-granchildren.
