It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Lucas Sr. of Richmond, Ohio, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur "Bill" Lucas and Alice Lucas (Walter); his wife Frances Lucas (Nurczyk); and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Lucas, Donna Higgins and Barabara Gorman.
He is survived by: his children, Karen McNamara (Joe) of Columbia, TN, Edgar Lucas Jr. (Paula) of Richmond and Daniel Lucas of Richmond; his grandchildren, Zachary Retzer, Nathan Lucas, Natalie Lucas, Noah Lucas and Mason Lucas; his siblings, Sandra Snyder of Columbus and Wilbur "Billy" Lucas (Patty) of North Carolina; and his siblings-in-law, Edward "Edju" Nurczyk (John "Jackie" Nurczyk) and Vicky Nurczyk.
