He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Maple and Ruth Mae Maple (Hainsworth); and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Maple, Ray Maple and Carol E. Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Maple (Cullen); his children, Doug E. Maple (Jodie), Rod L. Maple (Paula) and Julie L. Pasquarelli (Vincent); his grandchildren, Doug, Zach (Kylie), Cory, Ryan and Hayden Maple; and his great grandchildren, Gage, Bexley and Landry.
