He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde M. Snyder and Ruth I. Baxter Snyder; his parents-in-law, Charles and Mable Cartee; his brother Walter Snyder; his daughter Carrie Snyder; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Dyke, Olin Oates, Kenneth Cartee, Rod Chapman, Fleita Snyder, Faye Mayhew, Dolores Cartee and Lola Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Cartee; his sons, Scot Snyder (Heather) of Monroe, OH and Ben Snyder (Misty) of Galena, OH; his grandsons, Grayson Snyder, Mark McNish and Nicholas McNish; and his siblings, Jaunita Dyke of Waverly, OH, Kenneth Snyder (Shirley) of Tucson, AZ, Jack Snyder (Nancy) of Chillicothe and Wanda "Sis" Oates of Chillicothe, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
