The passing of Richard L. Long of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, born in Newark, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Greer Long and Dorothy C. Long (Frischen); his significant other Gloria "Bootie" K. Long (Helphrey); his son Bradley Richard Long; his grandson Samual Alexander Long; and his siblings, Nancie Hall (Bob), Patty Long, Joyce Wright (Everett), Ellie Giles (Kent) and Thomas Frischen (Barbara).
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Bauer (Chuck); his grandchildren, Brandon Bauer (Ashley), Zachary Long (Erika), Brooke Long, Jesi Benjamin (Blake), Nicholas Bauer (Ellie) and Avery Pence; and his great grandchildren, Parker Eisele, Beckham Benjamin and Berkley Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Grace Fellowship (3600 N Waggoner Rd, Blacklick, OH 43004).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org) or, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Richard's honor.
