He is survived by: his children, Tom Petty (Sue), Candy Nemeth, Mike Petty (Susan) and Scott Petty (Meg); his grandchildren, Chris (Heather), Shea (Lee), Ryan (Shauna), Annie, Bert, Megan (Ryan), Liza (Jamie), Bryn (Bryan), Patrick (Tara), Allison, Emily, Kelley (Keaton), Sara (Terry) and Kate; and his sister Janet Kennedy. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
