He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Robert James and Polly Ann James (Spencer); and his siblings, Randy James and Karla Powell. He is survived by: his wife Kathy James (Pickering); his daughter Natalie Ann James; his stepsons, Timothy, Tyler and Tristan; his brother Richard James (Carol); and his sister-in-law Pamela James. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Mickey was an organ donor and was able to donate to Lifeline of Ohio.
