He was predeceased by: his parents, Onofrio Mangia and Cosima Mangia; his wife Betty Jo Mangia; his daughter Brenda Stucker; and his grandson Joseph Fonseca.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Becker (Dave), Sharon Fonseca, Joseph V. Mangia (Carol), Julie Hanna (Hans), Steven Mangia (Ann) and John Mangia (Tracy). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, 70 plus in total; many more extended family members and friends.
