Jay Leonard Obituary

As we bid Jay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Leonard and Alice Leonard (Brown); and his brother Dwight Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Leonard; his children, Douglas P. Leonard and Valerie Williams (Greg); and his grandson Daniel J. Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reynoldsburg Community Church (1636 Graham Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Lee was a 56 year member of the Reynoldsburg Community Church, and the family suggests memorial donations in his memory to the Reynoldsburg Community Church (https://reynoldsburgcc.com), or the Mid Ohio Food Bank.
