With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Juanita Smith of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, born in Bluefield, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, William M. Smith and Bertha E. Smith; and her siblings, Charles, James, George, Edward, Ernest and LaVerne.
She is survived by: her aunts, Nene, Juanita and Nita; her sisters, Imogene Ferguson of Columbus, Ohio. and Staralee A. Adair of Columbus, Ohio.; her daughter Yvette W. Jackson (Patrick) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her granddaughter McKenna S. Hensley of Durham; and her great-nieces, Shameikia I. Smith, Bree-An Smith of Columbus and Dr. Nichelle M. Logan of Conroe, Texas. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kingdom Power Baptist Church (1673 Lockbourne Rd, Columbus, OH 43207). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
