She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tyra and Grace Tyra; and her husband Reverend George Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Sheri Delong (Robin), David Thompson (Stephanie) and Beth Simpson (Dave); her grandchildren, Jeremy Delong (Amanda), Tiffany Simpson, Alexis Parrill (Tommy), Brooklyn Butts (Jonah) and Gentry Thompson (Zanda); and her great grandchildren, Adrian, Isaiah, Alijah, Nevaeh, Naiyana and Alivia.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cotner Funeral Home (7369 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
