He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Wachtman and Mary Wachtman (Otte); and his siblings, William Wachtman, Laura Bahler, Marie Panning, Martha Young and Hilda Green.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Herath; his sons, Stephen (Melea), Timothy (Rachel) and Andrew (Kristi); and his granddaughters, Annika, Jessica (Noah), Elli, Alison (Nick), Melissa, Adrienne and Amanda.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Epiphany Lutheran Church (268 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
