He was predeceased by: his father Earl Beindorf; his stepfather Claude Keller; and his sisters, Earlene Sanders, Valerie Spire and Rhonda Beindorf.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Beindorf (Benavides); his mother Letha "Peggy" Keller of Bettsville; his daughter Lori Benavides of Port Lavaca, TX; and his siblings, Lane Beindorf (Melinda) of Locust Grove, VA, Doug Beindorf of Gibsonburg, Rita Okonski of Tiffin and Jonnell Harrison of Bettsville. He is also survived by three grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
