He was predeceased by: his parents, John Miller and Eva Miller (Heabler); and his son John Miller. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Bentzien; his daughters, Kathy Singleton (Robert) of Peoria, Linda Wurm (James) of Republic and Sharon Williams (Derek) of Brunswick, Ohio; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Miller. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richard's honor to the Autumnwood Care Center, Heartland Hospice or to the Attica United Methodist Church.
