He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall and Mollie M. Bollenbacher Jr. (Bilger). He is survived by: his wife Judy R. Neikirk; his children, Tracey Hackenburg of Tiffin, Mark Bollenbacher (Tracy) of Lake Tapps, Karen Peck (Joe) of Republic, Todd Bollenbacher (Holly) of Bellevue, Tim Bollenbacher of Bellevue and Robert Bollenbacher of Orting; and his siblings, Richard Bollenbacher (Linda) of Bellevue, Ned Bollenbacher (Kitty) of Bellevue, Mary Ann Martin (Gene) of Tiffin and Rose Greene (Ron) of Bellevue. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
