He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Dehring and Dorothy Dehring (Keiffer); and his son Marcellus Dehring. He is survived by: his former spouse Jessie Dehring of Fostoria; his son Jason Dehring (Terri Shulaw) of Fostoria; his grandchildren, Angelina, Grace, Zoe and Marcellus Dehring; his siblings, Bob Dehring of Findlay and Janet Gilson of Fostoria; his children, Amanda Manker and Michael Shulaw; and his grandchildren, Alyvia, Alydin, Addin, Ethan and Jake.
