He was predeceased by: his son Bryan Heath Sandford. He is survived by: his wife Laura Jean Sandford; his children, Travis Lee Sandford (Tracy) and Heather Jean Felton (Tim); and his grandchildren, Lyndsey Sandford (Evan Owens), Josh Sandford and Irina Felton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Reno Volunteer Fire Department.
