Risner of Raymond, Ohio, born in New Washington, Ohio, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Risner and Mazella Risner (Green); his wife Kay F. Johnson; his siblings, Wanda Kleinman and LeRoy Risner; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Risner and Karen Johnson.

He is survived by: his daughter Leslie K. Laird (Charles) of Mandeville, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Allison Laird, Whitney Murphy (Cameron) and Daniel Laird (Emily); his great grandchildren, Reagan, Sadie, Miles Murphy, Brooks and Melanie Laird; his siblings, Paul Risner (Sharon) of Marysville and Phyllis Hoffman (Don) of Marysville; and his siblings-in-law, Robert "Bob" Johnson of Bellefontaine, Ruby Pack (James) of Lima and John Kleinman of Marysville.

In Ray's memory, contributions may be made to the Union County Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
