He was predeceased by: his parents, Sumner Bushong and Mildred Bushong (Jackson); his son Todd Bushong; and his grandsons, Ethan and Ian.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bushong (Blanton); his son Craig Bushong (Amy) of Marysville; his grandchildren, Carrie Rieck of Columbus, Cameron Bushong of Athens and Madison Bushong of Marysville; his sister Patricia Bean (James) of Hilliard; and his pets, Lucy White and Zoe.
