We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ethel Schaal of Rayland, Ohio, born in Tiltonsville, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Ethel departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ethel may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ethel leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Erickson and Sadie Erickson (Noll); her son Paul Olzeski; and her siblings, Dorothy Nichols, Patricia Malcuit and Richard Erickson.
She is survived by: her husband Donald D. Schaal; and her daughters, Sharon Blum (Gary) of Bridgeport and Barbara Bowman (Jay) of St. Clairsville. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
