It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Helmick of Ray, Ohio, born in Gallipolis, Ohio, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. George W. Sexton and Nellie L. Thomas Sexton. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Sparks (Heidi) of Ray and Dona Sparks of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Jay Sparks (Justin), Megan Bartoe (Josh), Ryan Clemons, Hunter Clemons, Timothy Hamblin (Amanda), Job Fields and Mariah McNichols; and her sister Carolyn Vickers (Bob) of Wellston. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
