He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Buskirk and Hazel Buskirk (Nichols); his wife Sarah I. Ray; his siblings, Warren, Melvin, Donald Buskirk, Alice Thompson and Margie Logan; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Buskirk, Dorothy Remy, Junior Graves and Clifford Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Buskirk (Ann) of Carmel, IN and Melinda Sheets (Samuel) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Pop Pop, Samantha Valentine (Noah) of West Lafayette, IN, John Buskirk of Minneapolis, MN and Ruthie Buskirk of Noblesville, IN; his siblings-in-law, Opal Graves of Columbus and Richard Remy of McArthur; and also Ava Valentine. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
