She was predeceased by: her father Ollie Rucker; her husband Charles McCoy Heiss; her son David Hess; her sister Phyllis Birch; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Rucker and Ray Reighart.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan A. Leach (Tim) of Ray, OH; her great grandchildren, Zane and Max; her siblings, James A. Rucker of Ray, OH, Penny Reighart of Charlottesville, VA and Pam Rucker (Dave Kordis) of Cincinnati, OH; and her cousin Diane Lewis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
