We bid farewell to Walter Kenneth Vanderpool of Ravenna, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 23, 2025 at the age of 78. Walter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Vanderpool and Alva Vanderpool (Kahler); his wife Sherry Vanderpool (Ethal); and his siblings, Marilyn Duncan, Susie Buskirk, Gordon Vanderpool and Helen Kaminski.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Nowak (late Garry), Kenny Vanderpool (Betty), Misty Williamson-Enstrom (Bobby), Heidi Christian (Rich), Ricky Vanderpool and Aaron Vanderpool; and his siblings, Judith Johnson, Jerry Vanderpool, Raymond Vanderpool, Janice Anderson and Bonnie Moore. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel (141 N Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
