It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Furey of Ravenna, Ohio, born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Furey and Gertrude Furey (Steines); his wife Martha; and his siblings, Eileen Tobias and Bill Furey.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Furey (Cindy), Alice Hogue (Richard), Beth Ann Cook (Douglas) and Amy Ligan (David); his grandchildren, Kristy, Meaghan, Michael, Morgan, Abby, Rachel, Madison, Tyler and Benjamin; and his great grandchildren, Reaghan and Caileigh (Judith).
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Immaculate Conception Church or National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6133 Rockside Road, Suite 208, Independence, OH 44131-2217.
