Though Sandra K. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sandra K. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Deffenbaugh and June Deffenbaugh (Hall); her husband John G. Sr.; and her daughter Veronica Lynne Byerly. She is survived by: her children, John Byerly, Jr., Paul Byerly (Heather), Matthew Byerly (Amy), Jenna Seavey (Kyle) and Katelin Womack (Alec); and her siblings, James Deffenbaugh, Karen Salamon and June Meduri. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 1 great grandson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel (141 N Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
