He is survived by: his former wife Betty (Keller); his sons, Daniel Mathia (Nancy), Richard "Rick" Mathia (Sue) and Ronald "Ronny" Mathia (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jason, Amanda, Cody, Cory, Jesse, Sarah and Maggie; his siblings, Margie Barr (Mathia), Vincent Mathia III and Reg Thayer; and his caregiver Bridget Sanders (family: Cory Molai, Luke Jones, Angel Molai, Hunter, Betty Sue, Brooklyn, Amelia). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
