It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melody S. Atkinson of Ravenna, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Boyd Matthews; her husband Michael L. Bond; her sister Noreen Matthews; and her son-in-law Bryan D. Hathaway. She is survived by: her daughters, Sonnia S. Atkinson (Brian Riddle) and JoAnne L. Rang (Bernard); her grandchildren, Tyler Barlow (Haley Aiken), Nathan Hathaway (Nicole), Austin Fox (Ariana Stephens), Bernie Rang, Jr., Noah Hathaway (Tatiana Hager), Jaylyn Rang (David Jenkins) and Nicole Hathaway (Mark Sisler); her great grandchildren, Autum, Bryson, Xavier, Ahlyus and Levi; and her siblings, Cheryl Clason (John), Marsha Meese and Alan Matthews (Pamela). She is also survived by many adoptive children and grandchildren.
