Mary Ellen Roosa Obituary
Mary was born in Ravenna, Ohio to parents Leonard J. and Adella M. (Schumm) Roosa on August 27, 1957. Mary enjoyed listening to country music and watching movies. She was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother and regarded her family most important in her life.
Mary is survived by her daughters Alta (Lester) Slaughter and Kayla Roosa. Also survived by her beloved grandchildren Kasey (Jacob) Blankenship, Jason Slaughter and great-grandchildren Weston lee Blankenship and Adella Marie Blankenship. Left also to cherish her memory are her siblings Barbara (Bob) Hood, Alicie (Bob) Hanna, sisters-in-law Nada, Bonnie and Colleen Roosa and her Aunt Maxine Jones. 4 adopted Grandkids , Lacee , Chelsee , Jailynn , Zabrina
Mary was preceded in death by her brothers Raymond, Leonard, Leroy and Danny Roosa and her sisters Pearl, Audrey, Betty and Susie.
Friends will be received on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, from 11am until the funeral service, officiated by Pastor Barron Chambers, beginning at 12pm. A dinner will be Served Immediately following at At the First Church of God 237 New Milford Rd, Ravenna, OH 44266 for 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm .
