He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Salamon, and Rose Salamon, Sr. (Stettner). He is survived by: his wife Linda R. Salamon (Ortiz); his children, Amber R. Salamon and Chad J. Salamon (Sarah W. Young); his grandson Asher J. Salamon; and his siblings, Carl Salamon (Constance CJ), Marilyn Morgan (Bob) and James Salamon (Deniece). He is also survived by his nephews, his niece, his great-nieces and his loyal canine companions.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a local blood bank or consider donating blood in Joe's honor, a gesture that would embody his spirit of giving back to others in need.
