We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2024, at the age of 80, Joseph A Coates Jr. of Ravenna, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastiana "Bess" Coates (Tondiglia) and Joseph A. Coates Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann; his daughters, Amy (Corey Callihan) of South Riding, VA and Bethany (Michael Loll); his granddaughters, Amelia and Charlotte of Crofton, MD; and his siblings, Diane (Gordon Harris), Matthew (Kathleen Coates) and Mary Beth (Kent Lillick).
