With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James H. Wise (Ravenna, Ohio), born in Akron, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Jim (Sara) and Norm (Lisa); his grandchildren, Mark (Mary Pat), Jamie (Debbie), Sarah and Jennifer; his great grandchildren, Julie (Andrew), Kelly (Matt), Kegan (Libby), Coreena (Reed), Griffen (Grace), Bubba (Sarah), Caleb, Kendall, Josh and Sophie; his great great grandchildren, Porter, Callahan, Emily and Luke; and his wife Ruby.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel (141 N Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Northern Ohio PGA Section Foundation, which supports programs positively impacting youth, military veterans, and local communities through the game of golf.
